SVFA: Supporting our first responders and the communities they serve in North Dakota!
The members of the Southern Valley Firefighters Association are volunteer and part time emergency responders who proudly provide fire and emergency services to the North Dakota communities of Briarwood, Horace, Hickson, Oxbow, Wild Rice, Prairie Rose, Frontier, St. Benedict, and rural Cass County. Our dedicated members complete extensive training throughout the year to hone their skills to best serve the communities we call home.
Most of our firefighters hold multiple certifications like: Automobile Extrication, Firefighter I and II, Hazardous Materials (Haz-Mat) Operations, & Fire Instructor. Our rescue members hold Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification or Paramedic certifications.
The members of the Southern Valley Firefighters Association pride themselves on always being ready to answer the call to service at all times of the day and in all conditions.
Thank you for supporting the efforts of our first responder members!
